The World’s Fair Marina doesn’t get talked about enough for what it offers. The venue boasts two spectacular ballrooms for events and weddings, and the one on top is beyond remarkable. It sits just off to the side of the Grand Central Parkway going past Flushing Bay Promenade. The Marina also has a beautiful outdoor gazebo with a walking path along the waters that allows you to gaze into the city lights of College Point just across the way. And just when you think you’ve seen all of its beauty, it KEEPS ON GOING! The Marina‘s ballroom event spaces are not only spacious and luxurious, they also have aesthetically pleasing slanted ceilings with large windows to the side. If you plan your wedding here around sunset, your guests will feel like they’re in heaven! It’s not just a venue, though. The space around the banquet hall holds a lot of culture, dating back to 1939! It was originally constructed to accommodate the 1939 World’s Fair, and then was later renovated by Robert Moses to accommodate 800 boats for the 1964 World’s Fair. instagram @section

The boat ride was amazing. The staff member service skills were amazing. The food was delicious. I'd like to recommend that the DJ diversify the music choices based on the audience. Besides that, everyone was very attentive and showed compassion to their gursts. I'd recommend the Worlds Fair Marina to anyone. Good job!!

I've been to a few events here several years ago and I had a generally positive experience. The huge plus is the proximity to the water. The actual venue is fine, albeit a little cramped in terms of space. It's a solid place to host an event.

Visited there once for a work related event. The appetizers were great and the main course was fairly decent. I think the view of the airport is amazing. They have a fairly decent size parking lot and and a place for EV charge.

It's very nice place and close to the water. A good place for celebrating ceremonies like wedding, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries and any events. You can also enjoy the view to see airplanes because it's near Laguardia Airport. There is a parking lot also. Go enjoy your parties in that place.

My experience here was amazing. We held a holiday event in the 2nd floor for 80 people and it was so cozy for all the people to mingle, dance and have a great time. The manager Hansan was so helpful with the food choices, drinks and the decoration for the tables. It made everyone's experience so enjoyable and memorable. The service was excellent and we will be trying to host future events here.

I’m not sure how this place is getting 5 stars or even 4. Did an event these this past weekend. The bathroom area smells really bad. The place is not clean. The carpet needs cleaning. And there was a roach in the bridal suite. And the sign for the bridal suite was a hand written one.

Held my sons first birthday party here in the main banquet hall. The space is great for large parties and the food was very good. The selection of food is excellent and they made the food according to our spice level. The menu is extensive wity many varieties of cuisine. Banquet Manager Vishal was extremely helpful and accomodating throughout the entire process. He ensured that our needs were met. I highly recommend working with him and recommend WFM for any of your catering venue needs.
